Google travel grantGoogle is generously making support available for researchers and students from Africa working on speech science and speech technology. Priority will be given to authors of accepted papers to SLTU'12. To apply, please send a brief motivation (describing the expected benefits of your attendance of SLTU'12) as well as a brief CV to this email: ISCA grantsISCA offers for attending the workshop and staying at the venue. The ISCA grant fund aims to help students and young scientists (age <35) to participate in conferences relevant to speech and language. Grants for participation in SLTU'12 will be administered by the ISCA Board with the aims of assuring a broad representation of the scientific topics of the conference and as wide a cross-section of the international speech community as possible. Requests for grants must be sent together with the paper(s) submitted and other necessary documents directly to ISCA's grant coordinator according to the instructions given at ISCA's website. |
