Text detection

1. General idea: Ridges represent well textual structures. At small scale, ridges reprensent skeletons of characters. At bigger scale, ridges represent the texture line. We propos a method based on this characteristic to detect text in images. This method is applied to detect textual logos in DETECT project. See our article about this work for more details.
